The Club
Te Mara Nui Plongée is a center approved by the FFESSM (French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sport) located at the Uturoa marina, 300 meters from the city center. Its geographical location allows quick access to the diving sites: between 7 and 25 minutes by motor boat depending on the spots.
The 2 Boats
1 boat for diving, and 1 boat for snorkeling and excursions.
Floriane
Floriane is your monitor! Manager of the club and holder of a BEES 1 (State Certificate as a Sports Educator), she knows the lagoon in which she has been diving since 1994. Quality of service, safety and friendliness are essential for Floriane. This is why the maximum number of divers allowed on board does not exceed 5 and shark feeding is prohibited. Moreover, in order to preserve the environment, all the dive sites have been equipped with dead bodies to moor the boat during the dives.
Discovery dives
If you've never dived before, you'll start with a discovery dive. After a briefing on the progress of your dive, you will descend alone with your monitor to a maximum depth of 6 meters for a duration of 30 to 40 minutes. For this first dive you will be surrounded by multicoloured fish: butterfly fish, parrots, anemones and clown fish....
